Wake up shortly after midnight at 4600m…Tee and muesli before we leave – night is warm, but windy – off we go…..a moraine to climb for an hour…some meter downs in dusty stones….an other hour on a glacier, covered with huged stones …. never ending…at 4 wee arrive at the glacier….it takes half an hour […]

Cordillera Huayhuash

Back from the Cordillara Huayhuash after 11 days of trekking. 150 km of walking with more than 6000 m of difference in altitude. Lowest camp at 3900 m above sealevel and highest at 4600. Supported by 27 donkeys and almost ten staff (guides, cooks and donkey drivers…) More pics are here [pictures]
